I would give it more stars if I could. I have only had this book a short time and have already read it twice. It is simply amazing the information it holds. More than once, it has moved me to tears.Anyone who has that tug at your heart feeling, like something you think you have always known, but can't quite put your finger on it, needs to read this book.
I feel it is important to read this book with an open mind and consider the possibilities. Also, keep in mind, Edgar Cayce read the Bible front to back 67 times. I will venture to guess it was the King James Version, so I did not find in unusual to hear the King James dialect during the readings. When translating, one would use the words they are most familiar with.
A wonderful read and most comforting to know that we all have angels watching over us, waiting to help. All we have to do is ask.

Wonderful reading. Serious, with first hand knowledge. Non commercial, no offers for trinkets, extra books, etc. Some of the writers on the subject sound more like used car sales people than true spiritual people.
It was very interesting, and answered many of my questions about man being on the earth long before the time of Adam, and why Adam was said to be the first man, although we know that man goes back a lot farther in history than the Bible says. He was the first man that God made, the first modern man. And answered how the different races began. A very informative book, as well as inspirational. I'd read the Book of Enoch and had questions that differed than the Bible, and this helped with those as well.
Anyone looking for answers should read it.
The book is totally different than what I thought it would be. I had no idea who Edgar Cayce was but have since researched him. It helped me to better understand the book and how it is presented. The author (Grant) cites the many "visions and readings" (not sure that is the correct term to use) of Edgar Cayce and his son, and uses their experiences and quotes from the Bible to support his statements. It is a very slow read because there is so much to absorb. You almost have to study it. It is not a fluffy discussion of Angels.
Is is still interesting to read even though it is a bit dated. As of the time of this review, the current election had me upset. However, I was able to find reassurance that,through faith, there is always hope.
I've read a number of books on Angels but "Edgar Cayce on Angels, Archangels and the Unseen Forces" is just what I've needed, but didn't think I'd ever find. The author, Robert J. Grant, includes a wide selection of references in addition to Cayce, whose work is the main focus.
Included, are accounts from people who had angelic interventions, NDE's, and healings; but the most interesting part is Grant's descriptions of Cayce's readings on the Book of Revelation. It seems this mysterious book can be understood in an inner sense with the number seven referring to the seven chakras. Very interesting and hopeful.
WOW....I wish I had known this man....but feel as though I do. History repeats itself and it did so with Cayce, in that so many did not listen or take him seriously.....even when his predictions were proven true. It amazes me that, even though he was given this incredible gift.....that still lives on.....he remained humble and true to himself and that he often doubted his gifts and talents simply because he did not have a formal education and was shunned by the medical profession. I would definitely recommend this and other books on Cayce. They fill the sould with a sense of peace.
This book is even better than I'd hoped for. It's far more than stories of people who have returned from "the other side." Robert Grant did a wonderful job explaining many of Edgar Cayce's readings, but he didn't stop there; not by a long shot. Since so many folks did such a wonderful job reviewing this book, I won't embarrass myself by carrying on about how wonderful this book is. But, I just have to say, if you're into Angels, Archangels, and Unseen Forces, you are going to love this book!
